How does an e-cigarette work?
An e-cigarette is a heat not burn device, meaning that it’s electronically powered, heating up e-liquid through the battery and coil. The heated up e-liquid inside the vape device is vaporised into an aerosol and is inhaled by the user, this replacing the harmful chemicals and burnt tobacco inhaled whilst smoking cigarettes.
What exactly is inside e-liquid?
The best e-liquids are made of only 4 ingredients; water, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG) and flavourings. Many vape juices contain nicotine, although this isn’t a prerequisite.

What is an atomiser?

What is a coil?

What is sub ohming?
Sub-ohm devices are vape devices which run on resistance of under 1 ohm. This means that they produce large plumes of vapour, often running on variable wattage/voltage mod devices. These devices are often utilised for high VG vape liquids and are often low in nicotine concentration.
What is mouth to lung and direct to lung vaping?
There are two main styles of vaping, mouth to lung and direct to lung vaping. Mouth to lung vaping is the style most akin to smoking, in which you inhale the vapour into your mouth before the lungs. This is best utilised on low powered devices such as vape pens and cigalikes. Also, this is the go-to method for high PG and high nicotine concentrated vape devices.
