Which nicotine strength is right for you?

Whilst there are other nicotine replacement supplements, vaping has remained the most popular for a variety of reasons. Due to its versatility and the huge community that’s grown around companies such as Nicohit, e-liquids are only increasing in popularity.

As part of the industries versatility, it has never been easier to choose what strength nicotine you would like in your vape. Below is everything you need to know about nicotine strengths in e-liquid.

Why is there different nicotine strengths?

These have been established to satisfy the needs of all levels of ex-smoker. With the TPD regulations first expanded to include e-liquids in 2014, all retailers had to make sure that their e-liquids contained no higher than 20 mg of nicotine per 10 mL bottle.

Here are the ways in which they are usually measured out and how best the strengths are utilised.

3 mg to 6 mg

Equivalent to between 3 and 6 cigarettes a day, 3 mg to 6 mg of nicotine per 10 mL is the lowest strength available to vapers after short fill 0 mg e-liquids.

9 mg 12 mg & 18 mg

Mid-range e-liquids can go either way. They can be used less regularly by ex-light smokers and more regularly by ex-heavy smokers. W
