E-Liquids explained – The complete guide

This blog is focused on breaking down the different types of vape juices out there. Whether you’ve just bought your very first e-liquid or are interested in sub ohm vaping, this will guide you through which juices will be best for you, and how you should be using them.

What is an e-liquid?

E-liquids provide the nicotine and flavour to your vape, although not all e-liquids have to contain nicotine. Available in a variety of flavours and strengths, you’ll certainly find the perfect e-liquid for the you desire.

What are the main components?

All brands, whether they be Dutty Juice or Uncles Vape Co, are made from the same trio of components. These are vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG) and flavourings. A higher amount of PG in a vape results in a stronger flavour, whereas an e-liquid containing more VG provides a smoother throat hit and enables larger clouds for sub ohm vapers. There are a variety of PG/VG ratios available on our site for you to try.

E-liquid ratios

E-liquids can come with a variety of PG and VG ratios. A high PG e-liquid will put nicotine levels and flavour before the density of the vape cloud you exhale, better suited to low powered devices. A high VG e-liquid will produce a thicker, larger vape cloud, more suitable for high powered devices.

E-liquid nicotine strengths

Our e-liquids are available in all UK legal nicotine strengths: 0 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, 20 mg.

0 mg e-liquids are available as 50 mL short fills.
3 mg, 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg e-liquids are available in our 10 mL ranges.
20 mg e-liquids are available in our salt ranges.

50/50 E-liquids

Whether you’re buying your first vape liquid or you’re a wholesales vaping supplier in UK, the most common ratio of e-liquid mixes you’ll find are 50/50. These have an equal balance of VG/PG thus a balance of viscosity and flavour.

Nicotine salts

Nicotine salts are 50/50 e-liquids that provide a way to enjoy high nicotine e-liquids with a smoother hit. We sell them as 20 mg liquids and can be added to your favourite flavoured juice.

Sub ohm

As mentioned above, PG and VG ratios are incredibly important when it comes to the kind of vape device you’re using. Sub ohm liquids are high in VG to accommodate for low resistance coils. These juices allow for smooth, high cloud density vaping, perfect for regular vaping sessions and cloud chasing.

Published by Nicohit

We have become one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and brands of E-liquid. We started developing our first range of E-liquid which became available for sale early in 2012. We created “Nicohit” as a brand owned by vapers for vapers. Everything we sell is tested by us and only gets the thumbs up if we think it is of the best quality.
